After a childhood of being known mostly as Ravi Shankar (famed sitar virtuoso) and Sue Jones’ daughter, who sings and plays a great jazz piano, Norah Jones broke out with her game-changing 2002 Come Away With Me and has since made a nice habit out of winning Grammy awards. To date she has 9 of them, and was 60th on Billboard magazine’s artists of the 2000-2009 decade chart.
Throughout her career, Jones has won numerous awards and has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide.
