One of the best contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook is New Jersey native Stacey Kent. The Grammy-nominated singer actually got her start in London and is now recognized around the world for her unique and beautiful sound. Her musical selections reflect that world-wide focus. Her 2013 “Changing Lights” is an homage to Brazilian bosa nova music, and her 2010 album “Raconte-moi” was even recorded entirely in French.
Stacey’s latest effort is a 2015 Standards album called “Tenderly.” She’s known to be a favorite of celebrities like Clint Eastwood and Oprah Winfrey.
